We create campaigns and content to attract new accounts and inspire current ones to grow with us. We continue to grow, with a global team focused on revenue and field marketing, product marketing, brand and content creation, advertising, and lifecycle marketing.
As a Film + Motion Manager, you will join a creative collective of designers, writers, producers, animators, and filmmakers passionate about showcasing the future of teamwork in innovative and engaging ways. In this role, you will craft compelling narratives that demonstrate Asana's vision and impact, coordinating seamlessly across creative and company-wide teams to enhance the visual storytelling experience. Collaborating with peers and stakeholders, you will manage projects from micro animations to expansive ad campaigns, leading a talented group to ensure all creative outputs align with our brand.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What You’ll Achieve:
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of animators, editors, and filmmakers to produce branded motion content.
- Manage and oversee film and motion projects from concept through to execution, maintaining brand consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with internal creative and cross-functional teams to develop content that aligns with strategic objectives.
- Implement systems and processes for efficient project management and team collaboration.
- Use knowledge of motion graphics and film production to drive technical innovation and efficiency.
- Align film and motion graphics strategies with company goals, keeping up with current industry trends and best practices.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external vendors and contractors for specialized project needs.
- Utilize project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
About You:
- Experience in leading creative teams and delivering high-quality film and motion content.
- Proven ability to collaborate across various departments and build consensus on complex issues.
- Skilled in using the latest motion graphics, film editing, and design tools.
- Competency in managing both small scale and large integrated marketing campaigns.
- Eagerness to stay informed on trends in film, motion graphics, and creative arts.
- Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience connecting creative solutions to business outcomes, with a producer's mindset.
- Comfortable with evolving brand guidelines and design practices for effective storytelling.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $192,000 - $211,500. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
