Show, don't tell. With our Whimsical + Asana integration you can do just that as you seamlessly embed your Whimsical wireframes, flowcharts, mind maps, and more into your Asana project.

Embedding your Whimsical boards in Asana means that you can always use the right tool for the job without bouncing between apps. If any of your teams use Asana, they’ll also have access to the content you create with Whimsical's fast and beautiful online collaboration tools to build your wireframes, product specs, user flows, customer journeys, and architecture diagrams. For distributed teams, a picture often has the power of a thousand words!

From real-time collaboration in remote team meetings to asynchronous communication across timezones, the Whimsical + Asana integration has you covered.

To add Whimsical embeds to Asana, copy a shareable link or embed link from your board. You can select an entire board or a specific viewport, and you can also choose whether the embed is public or private to only members of your Whimsical Workspace.

Get Whimsical + Asana

1. Get Whimsical + Asana Open the Whimsical board you'd like to embed in Asana. Click the Share button in the top right.
2. Click Copy Link and the link will be copied to your clipboard
3. In Asana, open the project where you'd like to embed the Whimsical board
4. Go to the Overview tab
5. In the Key Resources section, click Create a Project Brief. If there's already a project brief, click anywhere on the title.
6. When the brief opens, click Edit on the top right
7. Click the place in the brief you'd like to embed
8. Paste in the URL and the Whimsical board will expand below it
9. Alternatively, click the + icon to at the left side of the line you're on and choose Insert Media. Paste the URL into the box and click Embed link.
